We would like to offer for sale our latest project, this 1966 Ford Mustang coupe finished in metallic blue.

The paint is in good useable condition with some surface rust to the rear driver quarter panel and the passenger side rear quarter.  There are a few age-related scratches and marks on the hood and driver front wing.

The interior is finished in two-tone blue and is useable but to take her to the next level new seat covers would not go amiss.  The carpets too would benefit from replacement.

The steering wheel is now showing its age and would benefit from a replacement.  The dash-pad likewise; this being a southern car the hot sun has done its work and the dash pad is brittle and cracked.

Under the hood all looks in good order – the V8 left the factory with a v8 289 and we believe this to be the motor in her today.  As can been seen in the underhood pictures and video this is a power steering car and this works just fine.

The brakes are drums all round and are standard (non-servo).  These work but are showing there age and we would recommend new cylinders all around.  The wheels are factory fitted with factory wheel trims and good tires all around.

The underside is in overall good condition however there is a small repair required to the driver front floor pan and the passenger side front floor could be repaired but a replacement would make a nicer finish.

The front driver frame rail requires a small repair at the very front (normal on Mustangs of this age).  Rear frame rails, rear leaf spring hangers, and trunk drop off panels are all in great condition.  The exhaust will require a center pipe and muffler on the passenger side as this is missing no rust just missing.

The car starts on the key first time every time, drops into drive, and moves off just fine.  As mentioned before, the brakes do require cylinders.

This is a great starter Mustang that requires a small amount of work to turn her into a £25,000 car.

The car comes fully registered with a UK V5C document.
